Time for Biden to pay the piper?
While most media attention was focused on yet another Trump indictment, a federal judge upended the DOJ’s planned plea deal with Hunter Biden, triggering a “not guilty” plea from Hunter, setting up a dual problem for the Biden administration: A continued House-led investigation into the Biden family’s business dealings and a criminal trial in federal court for Hunter Biden, which would likely surface yet more dubious business transactions.
The latest evidence on that front comes from revelations that a major purchaser of Hunter’s art turned out to be a Democrat donor with an eye on a presidential appointment, and testimony that President Biden absolutely had close and frequent interactions with the people being fingered in questionable business dealings between the Bidens and other entities.
The information is building at such a clip that now House Republicans appear to be toying with the idea of actually proceeding with an impeachment of Biden.
